Day 01: Arrival: Trivandrum - Kovalam
(13 kms)
On
arrival at Trivandrum, you will be greeted by our executive and then drive
to Kovalam. On arrival at Kovalam, check in at the Ayurvedic Resort. The
rest of the day is at leisure for relaxation. Evening consultations with
the Doctors for Ayurvedic Treatment.
Day 02 to 08: Kovalam (Ayurvedic Resort)
You will undergo your Ayurvedic Rejuvenation Course at the Ayurvedic
Resort Treatment Centre for the required number of days as advised by the
Doctor.
Day 09: Kovalam - Kumarakom (163 kms)
After morning breakfast, check out resort and drive to Kumarakom.
Kumarakom is an invigorating and fascinating paradise in Kerala. On
arrival, check in at the resort and spend the remaining part of the day
enjoying your stay on the banks of the backwaters. Over night stay at
Kumarakom.
Day 10: Kumarakom- Alleppey (Backwater ride)
After morning breakfast, board a houseboat, to take a 24hrs Backwater
Tour. Kerala's backwaters are the most popular tourist attractions of
Kerala. Enjoy the panoramic views of paddy fields, narrow canals and
coconut lagoons along the state's palm-fringed backwaters that are inland
lakes connected by a network of canals. Food and over night stay at the
houseboat.
Day
11: Alleppey - Periyar (160 kms)
After breakfast disembark the houseboat, by which time you would have
reached Alleppey, and drive to Periyar. Periyar, is also known as
Thekkady, and best known for its wildlife. On arrival, check in at resort
and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure relaxing. In the evening a
boat ride at the Periyar Lake, which lies at the heart of the sanctuary,
could give you a lifetime's chance to spot exotic wildlife in its natural
habitat - like the eccentric bathing habits of the wild elephants that
come down to the lake. Over night stay Periyar.
Day 12: Periyar
An early morning trip through the Wildlife Park and Periyar Tiger Reserve
might get you the opportunity to meet the beast. Trekking with a local
guide familiarizes you to the rare birds, trees & flowers that you
come across here. You can even set upon a walk through the plantations
filled with the heady fragrance of fresh spice. Some of the inhabitants of
the Park include the leopard, wild dog, barking deer, mouse deer, Nilgiri
langur (a primate), bonnet macaque, sambhar, porcupines, squirrels, gaur
(Indian bison), wild boar and sloth bear. Over night stay at Periyar.
Day 13: Periyar - Cochin (74 kms)
After breakfast, check out resort and drive to Cochin. On arrival at
Cochin check in at the hotel and spend some time in leisure. In the
evening you get to relish a Kathakali Dance performance. Kathakali is a
classical age-old traditional dance-drama of Kerala. Over night stay at
Cochin.
Day 14: Cochin
Morning
after breakfast, you can enjoy a whole days city tour, visiting some of
the most beautiful tourist attractions of Cochin, like the Jewish
Synagogue, the 400-year-old synagogue, which is the oldest in the
Commonwealth Countries. The interiors have exquisite hand painted Chinese
tiles and Belgian Chandeliers. St. Francis Church - The first European
church in India, Chinese Fishing Nets - The huge, elegant fishing nets,
The Dutch Palace - built by the Portuguese in 1557and later occupied and
renovated by the Dutch. In the evening rejuvenate your body and mind with
our Complimentary Body Massage. Over night stay at Cochin.
Day 15: Departure
After breakfast, check out hotel and proceed to the airport for your
onward journey.
Ayurvedic Treatment programmes can be arranged for any
number of days as per requirements.
